Low Hall Farm is situated at the gateway to the Yorkshire Dales.
The historic town of Richmond is 5.5 miles away, boasting one of the greatest Norman fortresses in England, a beautiful river walk and a historic church. Richmond has a wealth of history and culture, from it’s original Georgian theatre to the various art galleries and The Green Howard’s museum.
The market town of Leyburn is 5 miles away with a market in the town centre every Friday. Leyburn also boasts the impressive Bolton Castle, Tennants auction house, a chocolate factory and the teapottery which are all well worth a visit. There are some lovely walks near Leyburn including ‘the shawl’ which is a circular route of approximately 5.8 miles.
Penhill is a prominent hill, 5.5 miles south west of Leyburn, in the Pennines, North Yorkshire, England. It forms a ridge that commands the southern side of Wensleydale and the northern side of Coverdale. Its concave shape was formed during the last ice age, when glaciers carved Wensleydale into a U-shape.
There are three local Golf Courses at Bedale, Akebar Park and Catterick.
Catterick Garrison offers many retail shops, supermarkets, a cinema and a swimming pool.

BUS TIMETABLE
The Bus service from Bedale to Leyburn stops in the village daily allowing visitors the chance to both local towns without the need to drive. This is particularly useful when staying in a campervan.
